My favorite was the little girls clothes, I bought dresses for my girls for Easter. I was a bit disappointed in the women's clothes, I tried like three dresses on and they looked like I was wearing a tent. I may go back tonight and try on an XL girls dress, they just might fit me. And I want to look for the mugs, when I was there, they didn't have any yet. I loved the mens shirts too, but my husband would never wear a shirt with flowers on it :)

I got a cute tote bag and some cards too.

It was fun. I went back without kids today to try on some clothes and got one of the light cotton long shirts to tuck in. The patterns really are beautiful. Friend in Ohio got a coat! There were definitely no coats in the store near me.

I too was excitedly anticipating the Liberty of London Collection @ Target. I ADORE LIberty of London! I got to my local store at about 11am - I was disappointed - the employees were still unpacking cardboard boxes and the selection was not at all close to what I was expecting. Also the quality of the clothing was shockingly poor. I ended up purchasing 2 flower pots and some plastic dishes & bowls for summer dining. I really wanted the mugs that were advertised as part of the collection - but none could be found & the staff @Target didn't have a clue if and when they would come in. I ended up going on-line and buying the mugs.
I believe the person in charge of Marketing @ Target really dropped the ball. There was no signage outside of the store they should have set up a section in the center of the store dedicated only to Liberty. Instead there were dribs & drabs throughout. It really cheapened the products and concept. (They probably wanted customers to walk throughout the store so that they would buy more Target merchandise - I didn't) A company like Liberty should be careful who they decide to partner with when they do a debut like this in the U.S.
Granted - a lot of items sold out because people love the Liberty designs but I believe Target really did a bad job with execution!!!! BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME :) !!!!!!

I saw it and bought 4 little frames for family members to have Mabel pics on their desk, but resisted all other temptation. 2 of the prints reminded me a little too much of vintage sheets I have in my sewing stash, though. The woman in front of me in line had a whole cart full of Liberty stuff including a shoulder bag that looked a lot like a diaper bag and some really cute rain boots.

Yes, I went yesterday. It was like an Easter Egg hunt trying to find stuff, since it was all over the store. I bought a dress for me, a dress for my little niece, a top (probably going back) and a duffel bag (maybe going back). My Target was sold out of a lot of stuff (even though I got there at 10 AM) and they told me certain stuff is being put out in waves. i.e. men's stuff goes on the floor today. I agree the little girls stuff was the cutest. I was disappointed in the quality of the women's clothes- polyester- wish they would have done cotton.

LOL we can be annoying mom's together!! When my oldest was in kinder they got to bring Timmy the Turtle home (stuff turtle since they were the Turtle class) and his "journal" for Ian to write up about what they did. Well Ian got to go first and I took pictures of him with Timmy at different events and then we did his journal scrapbook style with pictures and stuff and all the other moms were so mad that I had set the bar so high!!!
