Giveaway!!

So I told you how I received my package from Amazon - the one containing my pre-ordered copy of One Yard Wonders. The very next day, the doorbell rang again.
It would appear that in my excitement to receive this crafty wonder in a timely fashion, I pre-ordered it not once, but twice (once in April, once in August). And so, my friends, I am left with an extra copy.
And I would like to give it to you!

My favorite thing... finding something at a thrift store that I've been looking for forever. Wish I had a blog to link to or that I tweeted (but I don't). Would love a copy of this book. If you'd like a copy of "Applique Your Way" I accidentally ordered two! But then again, it may have been your blog that brought it to my attention. :-)

my favourite thing to study is the human brain. i am training to be a clinical neuropsychologist, and i am fascinated by the structure and processes of thought and the neural structures that instantiate them.
ad when i need a break from my studies, my favourite thing to do is to sew. this gives me space to mull quietly over the things i have learned, and hypothesise about things i might like to learn or figure out in the future.

My favorite guilty pleasure of late is this thing called "sweet moment'. It's basically a mini-instant chocolate pudding mix where you add a cup of hot water and stir it up in a mug. Then you have warm chocolate pudding. I know processed food isn't the best thing for me, but dang it's nice when you're up late working! =)

I've previewed that book a few times on Amazon but never gathered up enough to actually buy myself a copy. What a great giveaway! I tend to buy only one yard of most of my fabric as a 'test' run to see how I like it anyway!

my favorite musical artist is Billy Joel, my favorite colours are purple and blue, my favorite food is home made veggie pizza with my special recipe whole wheat crust, my favorite craft is knitting, but i love embroidery and sewing too, even if i'm not all that great at it, and my favorite flower is the lilac, and i am sad that we just move to an apartment complex that doesn't have any in the area :(

OOOOOwwwwww~ I'd love to win this one. My fave at the moment is time to craft. It's few and far between, especially since I returned to teaching high school this fall. My favourite quote is by Picasso and is-"If you know exactly what you are going to do, what is the point of doing it?" The emphasis is on the exactly. I have little plans either in my head or on paper but there is always that element of surprise and developing ideas through processes as you go along. It is such a favourite I have it on my desk to refer to and look at every now and again!

Great giveaway! I'm a follower. my favorite thing involves my favorite person, my soon-to-be-husband! while he's miles away training to become a soldier for the US Army, i'm here planning (with my head spinning) for our most special day coming up in february. and my favorite part about it, waiting for his phone calls in the evenings so i can tell him what i've discovered that day so we can share with each other just how excited we are to become husband and wife. <3
