This is a little decorative drinking cup from an (obviously very cool) midcentury vanity set. Oh, how I love it! I think I'll use it to store pretty pencils or something, though, as I don't think I could bear to muck it up with my ever-present Burt's Bees Chapstick. Moisturized lips are a must in my book.And these little lovelies? Well, I think my stomach went all aflutter when I found them:
They're sample button cards, and I just want to eat them. Don't they look yummy?
I bought some large (14x18) shadowbox frames last week when they were on sale at Michael's and I think these little darlin's will fit perfectly in them.What kind of treasures have you found lately??

Wow, you've been out to Kane County already? In the cold? LOL
We go in May when we make our big pilgrimage to Chicago and I am already counting the weeks. I cannot wait!
Oh - those button cards are amazing! And I've never seen a cup like that...so fancy & cute! Great finds - I am super jealous of those buttons - they will make great artwork in the shadowboxes! {I guess I could make some with my own buttons but that would be so much work...}
those are awesome finds, I especially LOVE the drinking cup!
I just happened upon your blog through Flickr I believe and those button pictures. So much fun! I'll be back. And I need to know more about this Kane County fleamarket. I'm in Chicago and I miss fleamarket goodness.
I love that cup. I would not drink from it either I use the same chapstick.
My most current find is 5 kitchen canister set with a cake dome. It has been my best find so far.
I can not wait to see what else you end up finding.
