Bahama Mama

A few things I learned on my trip (and then I promise to return to regularly scheduled crafty programming):

1. Not every other passenger will understand why you're taking pictures out the window of the airplane - no, it was not my first time on a plane. I just blog.

2. Bahamian pina coladas are delicious. And much stronger than the average pina colada. They necessitate a midday nap.

3. Somewhere between nine and eleven pair of shoes seems just right. Until you go over on your baggage allowance.

4. Use the Admirals Club (or its equivalent) whenever possible. I'm serious.

5. If you plan to bring your ipod on a trip, and spend a good amount of time downloading your songs and photos, it's a good idea to also bring the ear buds that allow you to listen to it.

6. Bring magazines, not embroidery for poolside diversions.

7. Jet skiing is an extreme sport when properly executed. Stretch afterwards.

8. Book spa visits in advance.

9. Mesa Grill Mesa Grill Mesa Grill.

10. Know when to walk away; Know when to run (thank you, Willie Nelson).

Such a lovely trip... and so glad to be home!

xoxo

That's great. I went to the Bahamas about 18 years ago. I don't remember it being that gorgeous.
